The Nation’s General Budget (PGE) 2012 will give to the health sector Bs 7.491 millions and Bs. 13.099 millions to education.

The Budget assignation of resources for the education sector will be of Bs. 13.099 millions, representing 7% of the 2012 Nation’s General Budget (PGE), While for the Health sector, the budget will be of Bs. 7.491millons, around 4 % of the PGE, adding up both  budgets they are three times more to what is assigned for defense and the Government.

The 2012 PGE, establish a budget of Bs. 185.889 millions, from which only 1.2 % will be directed to the Government ( around Bs 2.309 millions) and 1.7% is directed to Defense ( Bs. 3.214 millions). In the case of Education, from Bs. 13.099 millions in the budget, Bs. 11.332 millions belong to the Central Management and Bs.1.766 millions to Territorial Governments, it means councils and provincial governments.

In relation to the resources assigned to health, from a total of Bs.7491 millions, Bs. 5.723 millions belong to Central Management and Bs. 1.768 millions to councils and provincial governments. The spending of these four sectors for 2012 raised 113% in relation to 2006.
